Collection
The collection is simple but has a great meaning for a true fashion lover. The essence of this collection is undoubtedly, the print - which originates from Natasha's own thoughts, aspirations and origins. It is a culturally rich print and if looked upon, it has aspects, thoughts and expressions of nostalgia, political shifts, an emerging sense of democratic approaches and cultural practices - which include covering of the head and phenomenally artistic expressions, which are all present in Karachi, her hometown -to which she is emotionally attached. The theme is casual, however, it can be taken from day to night due to its versatility and embedded classic style. The collection allows one to wildly experiment with style while keeping the basic aesthetics of fashion absolutely in check.
Biography
Natasha Petafi born into a culturally-flourished family in Pakistan, made her entry into the world of fashion when she graduated from London College of Fashion, where she not only focused on fashion but textile designing as well. Her graduate collection in 2008 was chosen for the ASOS LTD100. Since then, she has been involved in launching her designer brand "Natascha Petafi". Her brand has made new waves in Karachi, the fashion capital of Pakistan, in an exclusive designer store "Labels" which stocks and exhibits local and international designers and brands. This unique opportunity will make the brand strong and an integral part of the casual-party fashion niche created in the sub-continent. Petafi is also an emerging designer in the middle east due to her flourishing work and designer wear collection in Kuwait. The middle east is self pro-claimed due to its luxury lifestyle and "Natascha Petafi" has created a niche which is becoming increasingly desirable. Petafi soon plans to open a retail outlet in the vicinity as her exposure increases. She permanently resides in London, where she is thoroughly promoting her brand extensively and plans to fully launch her brand name once her other endeavors are conquered.
